The University of Delhi has officially postponed the vote counting for the DUSU Elections 2024-2025 to November 25, 2024. This decision comes after the Delhi High Court directed the university to complete the counting by November 26, 2024, provided that all defacement issues are cleared. Despite efforts, many defaced locations have not been cleaned yet, prompting the university to handle the cleaning itself.

Changes in the vote counting:

  1. Postponed Counting Dates: The main vote counting will take place on November 25, 2024, at the Conference Centre, North Campus, University of Delhi, starting at 08:00 AM.
  2. College/Department Level Counting: The vote counting at various colleges, departments, and institutions will occur on November 24, 2024:
    • Morning Colleges/Departments: Counting starts at 08:00 AM.
    • Evening Colleges/Departments: Counting starts at 02:00 PM.

The University has directed all relevant institutions to ensure appropriate arrangements are made for the counting process.
