Exam Structure & Eligibility
MAT will test candidates across five sections—Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, and Economic & Business Environment—with 150 questions to be attempted in 120 minutes. Graduates in any discipline or final-year students are eligible to apply, ensuring accessibility for diverse candidates.
Multiple Test Modes and Flexibility
Candidates can select from four modes: Paper-Based Test (PBT), Computer-Based Test (CBT), or combinations such as PBT + CBT or CBT1 + CBT2. Each mode allows candidates to apply to more management institutes, with additional fees providing access to up to seven institute applications.

Admit cards will be available on the MAT portal three days before each exam date. Candidates must register online via the MAT website by paying ₹2100 for single-mode exams or ₹3600 for dual-mode combinations.
